Kerry Lusignan, MFA, MA, LMHC
She/her
CEO and Founder
“The couples I feel most called to work with are often the ones others might hesitate to take on—high-conflict relationships, couples in deep crisis, and those teetering on the brink of separation or divorce. These are the moments when everything feels uncertain, raw, and overwhelming—and yet, over the years, I’ve realized that within that rupture lies an opening.”
Crisis, while painful, often clears space for something entirely new. When couples are brave enough to step into that space with openness—even if it’s messy or unclear—that’s when transformation becomes possible. In her work, Kerry rolls up her sleeves alongside her clients, guiding them through the hard, courageous process of reshaping stuck patterns into healthier, more connected ways of relating.
Kerry is often the therapist couples turn to when nothing else has worked—and is regarded by many as one of Massachusetts’ leading couples therapists. But beyond credentials, what matters most to her is showing up with heart, humility, and a deep respect for the complexity of human relationships.
As the Founder and Director of a center devoted exclusively to evidence-informed couples therapy, Kerry brings a blend of rigorous training, decades of clinical experience, and a warm, no-nonsense presence to the work. She’s trained extensively in the most effective couples therapy models available today, including Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)—but she also understands that real connection requires more than just theory. It requires showing up, human to human.

Ask me about: Iceland. Claw hammer banjo and guitar. The intersection between art and therapy. Making the perfect pizza.
Ever since I was young, I’ve been: Acutely aware of heartbreak and beauty. Of the mindset that if we can’t grasp our mortality and how fleeting life is and get our heads around the deep call to love and do no harm in the face of impermanence, then we’re in real trouble.
Favorite quote: ”The obliterated place is equal parts destruction and creation. The obliterated place is pitch black and bright light. It is water and parched earth. It is mud, and it is manna. The real work of deep grief is making a home there”. — Cheryl Strayed
Favorite kind of couples: I love all types of couples. I think staying coupled and attending couples therapy is an inherently brave stance in this world. I have tremendous respect for any couple who takes that risk.
